By accessing and using BeyondRote ("Company," "We," "Us," or "Our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue using our services immediately.
2. Overview of Services
BeyondRote provides an AI-powered educational platform designed for STAAR test preparation. The platform allows parents to create personalized assessments, track progress, and help their children improve learning outcomes through AI-powered and manual test creation.
3. Pre-Order Terms
By placing a pre-order for BeyondRote, you agree to the following terms.
Launch Date: The platform is scheduled for release on February 26, 2025.
Early Bird Pricing: The pre-order price is $97/year for one child license, increasing to $297/year after we receive initial users per promotion if any.
License Access: Each pre-order includes a license for one child. Additional licenses can be purchased during checkout for $97 per child.
No Immediate Access: Full access to all purchases will be granted on February 26, 2025.
Refund Policy: A 30-day money-back guarantee applies from the product access date of February 26, 2025, not the pre-order date.
4. Educational & Results Disclaimer
BeyondRote provides AI-powered educational tools designed to assist with STAAR test preparation. While we strive for accuracy, this is the first version of the product, and as such:
The AI may occasionally generate errors or inaccuracies in assessments.
The platform may experience bugs or require improvements during the early stages of its release.
We are committed to continually improving the platform with ongoing updates and enhancements.
By purchasing the product during this pre-order phase, you acknowledge and accept that this is an initial release and understand the potential for technical issues or inaccuracies.
The platform should be used as a supplementary tool alongside parental guidance and professional educational resources. BeyondRote does not guarantee specific test results or performance improvements, as outcomes depend on individual usage, consistency, and other external factors.
Types of Questions & Limitations:
BeyondRote allows parents to create two types of practice questions:
AI-Generated Practice Tests: Up to 25 tests per month using AI to create diverse, unique questions across all STAAR subjects.
The limit exists due to the cost associated with AI processing.Manually Created Questions: Unlimited manual question creation where parents can input their own questions.
No limit applies, and all questions are auto-graded. The 25-test limit applies only to AI-generated questions, not manual ones.
5. Account Management & Parental Responsibility
Account Ownership: All accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
Parental Control: Parents have full control over the data shared and can delete their child's information at any time.
Use by Minors: Children under the age of 13 may use the platform only under the supervision and consent of their parents or guardians.
6. Children’s Privacy & Data Handling (COPPA Compliant)
BeyondRote is designed for educational use by children under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verified parental consent.
Data Collected: Minimal personal data such as a child’s first name and grade level for progress tracking purposes only.
Parental Rights: Parents can review, edit, or delete their child’s information at any time by contacting [email protected].
If you believe we have unintentionally collected personal data from a child without proper consent, please contact us immediately for removal.
7. Payment Terms & Billing
Subscription Fee: Your purchase includes a one-year subscription with the option to renew annually.
Additional Licenses: Additional licenses for multiple children can be purchased for $97 per child during checkout.
Payment Processor: Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
Renewal: Subscriptions will auto-renew after the 1-year period unless explicitly chosen by the user.
8. Cancellation & Refund Policy
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: You may request a refund within 30 days of product access (starting February 26, 2025).
Refund Process:

Pre-Order Refunds: Refund requests before product access will not be processed, as the guarantee starts after launch.

11. Intellectual Property
All content, including the platform’s design, assessments, and AI algorithms, is the intellectual property of BeyondRote and may not be copied, distributed, or modified without consent.License Use: Your purchase grants you a non-transferable license for educational use only.
12. Limitation of Liability
BeyondRote is not liable for:
Inaccuracies in AI-generated assessments, feedback, or reports.
Errors or omissions resulting from automated scoring or content creation.
Inaccurate test results due to external factors such as misuse of the platform.
Any indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
Reliance on AI-generated assessments without additional parental review.
13. Changes to These Terms
BeyondRote reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and communicated through registered user emails if significant.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States.
